Mad Laughter was described
in Milwaukee's Shepherd Express as a "High
Energy power trio combining crunch with musicianship and humor." The
band's set list is a mix of originals and covers crossing stylistic
boundaries but for the most part remaining true to the "metal"
format. The originals definitely keep today's audience in mind while
nevertheless drawing from the classic influences of Black Sabbath,
Van Halen (Roth era), Kiss, Led Zeppelin, Megadeth, Rising Force,
and Jimi Hendrix. Anything from the theme music of a television show
to a classic rock cover, to a unique, modern, heavy original is fair
game at a Mad Laughter show and the variety stirs up an audience
reaction every time.
